Welcome to my website! The cooler weather is upon us in the Mid-Atlantic, but it's still a great time to play with lots of bright colors and even experiment with different art supplies! I've been in the mixed media mood lately and have had a lot of fun playing with my new Gelli Print supplies. This allows me to create my own colored papers to ultimately use collage techniques that produce unique art pieces.
This November, I'm scheduled to teach three classes in the Hampton Roads area--two of which will be using the mixed media process. I'm looking forward to getting other "hooked" on this medium!
As a resident artist at the Smithfield Arts Center@319, I'm enjoying meeting people from around the area, the state, the country, and the world! Many people visit the historic town, so my studio space is a great place to share my art and talk art with visitors. We will be gearing up for the holidays with our Christmas Market opening the first week of November.
If you are interested in a piece, please contact me. To view all the artwork I still have available for sale, please use the AVAILABLE link. Some pieces may be at area galleries--I can let you know if that is the case.
Some of the more recent pieces are, or will be, available through the Arts Center@319 in Smithfield, VA, The Smithfield Center, the Suffolk Art Gallery, the Beach Gallery on Laskin Road (VAB), The Pop Shop Too in Newport News, VA., the Rawls Gallery in Courtland, VA, and The Pinner House, downtown Suffolk.
